PLC Queer Liberation Center

Throughout the United States and across the world, queer people are denied the right to exist without fear of oppression, exploitation, and violence. We must build systems of queer-based solidarity, collective action, and community care where resources are owned and utilized by queer people.

PLC Queer Liberation Fund

Each month, The Queer Liberation Fund provides up to $100 in support to queer people to help cover groceries, utilities, hygiene products, or other basic needs.

Chicago Queer Health Network

PLC is building a mutual support network of Chicago queer health advocates, care providers, and community members to reclaim autonomy over their own bodies, spaces, and lives. This means building new systems of queer health in Chicago centered around queer experiences and needs, not corporate interests and financial gain.

In addition to supporting folks’ basic needs, the Queer Liberation Fund specifically provides resources to queer Chicagoans who need help cover the cost of or securing:

  • Hormone and gender-affirming medications/care
  • Medical Co-Pays
  • Hypodermic Needles and Syinges
  • Drug Testing Kits
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Accessibility devices
  • Naloxone (NARCAN) kits
  • HIV and STI testing and care
  • Diabetes and other chronic illness care
