The Solidarity Economy (also called the Social Solidarity Economy) is an alternative system of governance, labor, and resource sharing that prioritizes social welfare, community care, and worker ownership while challenging authoritarian, individualistic, and exploitative models co-existence.

 In solidarity economies, ordinary people play an active role in shaping all of the dimensions of human life: economic, social, cultural, political, and environmental.
